SOURCEWEBZINE – I wanted to start things off by asking about the new album “I Am Nemesis” you have out. What were the actual changes that you tried to bring forth on this record? Marc Görtz (Guitar) – I wanted to have new influences without forgetting the roots of the band! I was experimenting with guitar effects and other stuff. I had an idea in mind what i wanted for the new album. We also wanted a lot of variety in the album without loosing the red line through the songs. We also wanted to write heavy songs without always [ Read More ]

SOURCEWEBZINE – After six albums, does the band feel like they still have something to prove with “Dark Adrenaline” ? ANDREA FERRO (V) – There is always something to prove. With each album that we’ve released throughout the years, we’ve always wanted to try to go beyond what previously done. We’reconstantly evolving as people and musicians and every album portrays who we were at the time. “Dark Adrenaline” sure is no exception. SOURCEWEBZINE – What kind of progression did you see the band make between “Dark Adrenaline” and “Shallow Life” ? ANDREA FERRO (V) – With “Shallow Life” we decided to take a more [ Read More ]

SOURCEWEBZINE – You have a new record “Global Flatline”. How do you feel about the tunes on this new record? Sven De Caluwe (V) – Well first off we can’t wait for it to be out already! the record has been ready for months so its been a long wait haha! Agnete Kjølsrud (V) – Maybe not 80′s but surely a punk rock vibe. We wanted a raw sound and it would’nt supprice me if we get even further with the next album. SOURCEWEBZINE – What dictates how a Djerv album is going to sound? Is it based on how you are feeling at the time, or is it based on a grander thought process? Agnete Kjølsrud (V) – [ Read More ]

SOURCEWEBZINE – Após o lançamento da ótima demo “Thrash Your Brain”, a banda lançou o clássico “Smile” e o renomado “Disturbed Mind”.
