SOURCEWEBZINE - I first heard of ALL ENDS when Bjorn of IN FLAMES talked about you in an interview... How involved were Bjorn and Jesper in putting together the band nowadays ?
Tinna Karlsdotter (Vocals) - The started the project with asking Emma, Tinna and Joey if they where interested. After a while when it came to find musicians to complete the band, it was up to the rest of us. And as you know we found the perfect family!
SOURCEWEBZINE - Who writes the music and lyrics on the album?
Tinna Karlsdotter - We do that together with Björn and Jesper.
SOURCEWEBZINE - How was it decided that you would have two female vocalists in the band?
Tinna Karlsdotter - That was the plan from the start.
SOURCEWEBZINE - With two singers, how do you figure out who sings what?
Tinna Karlsdotter - It's never a problem. It comes rather naturally. Since we have so different voices, We complete each other really well.
SOURCEWEBZINE - Are you comfortable with the band's position sort of straddling different genres, rock, goth and metal?
Tinna Karlsdotter - As a matter of fact we are really comfortable in this, since our goal is to reach out to all kinds of people. By mixing all of our differnt musical backgrounds into something really new puts us in a better position into reaching that goal. And we are still able to hold on to our special sound throughout all of our songs.
SOURCEWEBZINE - Now that "Wasting Life" has been out for some months, are you satisfied with the EP and what it's done for the band?
Tinna Karlsdotter - Absolutely! It's always great to have a crowd singing along to your songs in front of you. The EP has awoken an interest in finding out who ALL ENDS / We are.
SOURCEWEBZINE - Are the songs on the EP going to reappear on an upcoming full-length album or is it a stand alone record?
Tinna Karlsdotter - Some of the songs might find their spot on the album... You never know :)
SOURCEWEBZINE - How are you treated by your male fans? Have you had any run-ins or stalkers or anything like that over the years?
Tinna Karlsdotter - Not yet... :)
SOURCEWEBZINE - ALL ENDS are from Gothenburg, Sweden. How is metal and the band for that matter received there?
Tinna Karlsdotter - As you probably know Gothenburg has got a huge metal scen, which gives a broad audience.
SOURCEWEBZINE - Do you all have day-time jobs besides ALL ENDS ?
Tinna Karlsdotter - Not any more, there's no time. Or interest for that matter... ha ha !
SOURCEWEBZINE - Is there any one band that fans would be surprised to hear that you like?
Tinna Karlsdotter - Backstreet Boys!! hahahahaha! :)
