SOURCEWEBZINE – “Meet Your Maker” has been out for a little while now. How has the response been?

Gun (G) – The response has been pretty good so far, they work damn well live so we are definitely not disappointed!

SOURCEWEBZINE – How has the band’s sound progressed from the last album?

Gun (G) – I think that with this album we took a big step towards the sound fits us best, trying to play around with different gear, but the hunt for the perfect sound never ends.

SOURCEWEBZINE – Do you think “Meet Your Maker” is a big step forward for the band?

Gun (G) – I don’t know if it’s a big step, but we have definitely moved forward in terms of playing better together and being better songwriters. It has taken a long time to write the album and we figured out how we best write songs and how to get passed the “writers block” whenever we hit the damn thing

SOURCEWEBZINE – You’ve worked with Jacob Bredahl. What makes him such a good producer?

Gun (G) – He’s a cool guy with a laid back approach that doesn’t stress you and that makes him very easy to work with. Im sure we will work together next time we will be recording our next effort.

SOURCEWEBZINE – Do you have a day job?

Gun (G) – I don’t think it’s a big secret, but you don’t get a big fat hairy pay check when you play metal, so we of course all have day jobs.

SOURCEWEBZINE – What is your religion/belief system?

Gun (G) – I don’t think any of us are religious.

SOURCEWEBZINE – Do you have any other passions or hobbies besides music?

Gun (G) – No not really, music is my only hobby, but its also one that takes up most of my time, so that doesn’t leave a lot of room for anything else. Maybe I will get into fine dining some time down the road J

SOURCEWEBZINE – With almost 24.327 friends on MySpace you’re obviously having a lot of success using it to promote your band.

Gun (G) – Myspace is a very useful tool for any band to promote them selves which has been very good for As We Fight.

SOURCEWEBZINE – What CDs are currently in your CD player/iPod?

Gun (G) – The New Alice In Chains record is on rotation the debut album by Kellermench which I recommend you to check out! And also Greatest Hits by Queen, gotta love Freddy Mercury and his big ass moustache!
