Brief:
Kallias is a progressive metal band blending crushing rhythmic complexity with cinematic orchestration and atmospheric sound design. Their upcoming album, “Digital Plague,” delivers eight tracks of aggressive precision and melodic tension, drawing influence from Meshuggah, Tesseract, Ihsahn, and Soreption. Produced by guitarist and vocalist Nicole Papastavrou, mixed and mastered by Dave Otero, the album features guest appearances from Chaney Crabb (Entheos) and Ian Waye (Soreption).
Digital Plague explores themes of technological collapse, internal conflict, and societal decay through a modern blend of death metal, ambient, and orchestral elements. The band will be embarking on a series of runs in 2026 to support the upcoming release. The record arrives August 14, 2025 via AISA distribution (Sony Orchard).
