Brief:

What awaits at the end of the rabbit hole of one’s own mind? This question is explored through gripping, dark tracks on “FOLLOW THE WHITE RABBIT”, the third album by metal outfit GHØSTKID.

Releasing two years after the band’s previous album, “HOLLYWOOD SUICIDE” (2024), the record marks the beginning of a new era for GHØSTKID mastermind Sebastian “Sushi” Biesler, who departed from his prior band members back in May 2026 while faced with a caesura of his career and personal life. Undeniably referencing Lewis Carroll’s iconic 1865 novel “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” as well as the video game “American McGee’s Alice”, “FOLLOW THE WHITE RABBIT” is a journey through Sushi’s own mind: “Once you’re in that mood and going down the rabbit hole, you’ll face many scary and weird things that will make you question your own sanity. That’s what this album is all about.”

Framed by the nostalgic intro “THE END” and the emotional ballads “LOVELY” and “WHITE RAINBOW”, the soundscapes of “FOLLOW THE WHITE RABBIT” venture into dark places, both lyrically and sonically. From the hip-hop influences most prominent in the title track and “NEON” (feat. Maz UNIVERZE), to alternative rock-driven songs such as “IVORY” and “UNCONDITIONALLY”, GHØSTKID continues to refine a visionary take on modern metalcore, nu metal, and alternative rock. Once again produced by longtime collaborator Sky van Hoff, GHØSTKID’s third offering reignites Sushi’s diverse influences and shapes them into a contemporary and distinctive sound.

With the “FOLLOW THE WHITE RABBIT” tour set to kick off in October shortly after the album’s release, Sushi has assembled a new lineup to carry his vision forward on stage and beyond, marking the beginning of what is next for GHØSTKID. As his most personal work to date, “FOLLOW THE WHITE RABBIT” not only reaffirms GHØSTKID’s musical identity but elevates it
further, showcasing Sushi’s evolution as a songwriter, vocalist, and creative force.

Follow The White Rabbit remains heavy, blending metalcore, industrial elements, and GHØSTKID’s distinctive emotional approach.
