Brief:
Formed in Aarhus, Denmark by guitarist Peter “Pepe” Hansen in 2000, HateSphere is one of a handful of bands reigniting the flame of ’80s Thrash metal by way of the so-called Scandinavian neo-thrash movement. The band quickly overpowered the Danish metal scene, while concurrently setting an immeasurable new standard for thrash metal domestically and abroad.
‘Hatred Reborn’ is textbook thrash-death metal eager to be performed live: razor-sharp riffs, some wicked melodic solos, a groovy-thick rhythm section and a truly hysteric and menacing vocal delivery (courtesy of new frontman Mathias Uldall) – not to forget the subtle, brilliant songwriting variety surfacing here and there.
Lyrically, ‘Hatred Reborn’ revolves around the subject of man’s fascination with evil. Every single human being is drawn to some kind of darkness: be it through factual events or fictional scenarios, HateSphere know how to deal with the seasons in the abyss. HateSphere is back and committed to create absolute havoc through extreme aggression and a unique, sick touch!
