SOURCE – Congratulations with the new album Embrace Reality, because it is really amazing! Can you tell something about those songs, please?

Sanja Drča (Vocals) – Hello everyone and thank you for making interest in our music. During the pandemic, we poured our hearts into making this album, striving to transcend the success of our debut and reach new heights. Each track embodies its own narrative and carries a profound message. Our album features eight dynamic tracks, offering a blend of slower melodies and high-energy bangers that are sure to captivate listeners!

SOURCE – How has the response been on Embrace Reality and what kind of expectations do you have for it?

Sanja Drča (Vocals) – The album was released on 26th of January and so far it has excellent reviews. We’re thrilled by the reception from our fans and eager to connect with new listeners. We anticipate that its success will lead to some new and exciting opportunities, including gigs and festival bookings.

SOURCE – What are the plans with video clips?

Sanja Drča (Vocals) – We’re currently in the process of creating the lyric video for our headline track, “Embrace Reality” and we’re excited to share it soon. Additionally, stay tuned for an announcement later this year regarding our plans for a brand new music video.

SOURCE – What are your thoughts regarding AI and its potential effects down the line when it comes to the music industry?

Sanja Drča (Vocals) – We have some mixed feelings about it. On one hand, AI tools can enhance creativity, streamline production processes, and offer new avenues for music discovery and distribution. However, there are concerns about how AI might impact traditional roles within the industry, such as songwriting, performance, and even the nature of artistic expression itself. I guess we will have to wait and see and hope for the best.

SOURCE – Several artists have recently been talking about issues with streaming services and losing money, while others have been defending it. What are your thoughts on this evolution of the music industry?

Sanja Drča (Vocals) – Streaming services are a double-edged sword. On upper side, streaming platforms have provided great access to music for listeners worldwide and have opened up new opportunities for artists to reach audiences which is amazing. But on the other side the financial compensation model of streaming isn’t that great when we talk about fair compensation for artists, especially for independent and lesser-known musicians.

However, when we first came together as a band, the notion of making a livelihood from our music seemed like a distant dream, especially here in Serbia. Each of us maintains separate careers, but our shared passion for creating music binds us together unconditionally.

SOURCE – Do you think the tendency of consumers to download single songs more than albums will mean that the idea of a concept album will fade?

Sanja Drča (Vocals) – Not necessarily. Concept albums offer a unique listening experience that many, including myself, truly appreciate. For those who value the artistic depth that concept albums provide, will undoubtedly remain loyal to the format. As for others who may prefer individual tracks, they may miss out on the deeper connection and narrative journey here, but hey, in the end it’s a matter of personal preference.

SOURCE – What worries you most about the world that we live in today (e.g Serbia conflict area)? Where do you think people need to put more effort/concentration on to make our lives that much better for the future?

Sanja Drča (Vocals) – To put it simply and honestly – everything. Serbia is a nation gradually being consumed by corrupt politicians, a reality that deeply saddens us. Many young people are leaving in search of better opportunities abroad. It’s a beautiful country with a lot of potential and great hospitality, but rotten leaders. We expressed that in our music and even on our album cover, featuring iconic Belgrade buildings, symbolizing our perception of the current state.

People need to get out their comfort zones and wake up if they want to change anything. Fighting for what’s right has always been and will always be necessary.

SOURCE – What are the biggest misconceptions that foreigners have about Serbia?

Sanja Drča (Vocals) – Serbia often flies under the radar for many people, nestled in the Balkans as a relatively small country. Those familiar with it are often sports enthusiasts.
Like I mentioned earlier, despite the politics, Serbia is a beautiful country and worth of visit so feel free to come, we will give you a tour! Also, we have the best cuisine in the world!

SOURCE – Is there anything that you’d like to say to you fans in closing?

Sanja Drča (Vocals) – Thank you so much guys for supporting us in what we do. Keep an eye out for new updates on our Instagram and Facebook pages, and as always, stay tuned and stay metal!
